We were crazy enough to move to the UK a week before our wedding, and have our wedding in France a week after the move. We spent a week in France with our loved ones, which was such a special time. Looking back we are so glad we got to have a week long wedding, not just one day!
The actual day was fantastic. Both myself and my new husband agreed the best part about it was hearing all our guests chatter, laugh and having a good time. It was the best sound! We had an interactive ceremony in a 12th century chapel, and we were lucky enough to have my aunt conduct the ceremony, which made it even more close to our hearts. A lot of our guests said it was the best ceremony they had been to as it was a good about of time (25 minutes) and fun. We left dancing and singing down the isle to Jackie Wilson’s ‘Higher and Higher’.
However, the wedding didn’t go without a hitch! The night before our wedding our photographer got rushed into hospital with blood poisoning- thankfully we found a replacement who did a fantastic job. The day before our wedding our wedding planner fell off her horse and broke her ribs and arm, but bless her she still stayed the whole day and night, with a little help from some very strong pain killers.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Kim at Bride Selection for making my wedding dress experience amazing! She was so kind and helped me find exactly what I was looking for and helped me with the customisations to the dress. It really felt like she was a part of my wedding, and my family by the time we left!
