Steven and I first met when I arrived to Australia in 2008 as refugees. We met at Girrawheen Baptist Church, back then I barely speak English. On Sunday’s him and his dad use to pick us up and other families for church service. As year goes by we became friend, we serve together in children and music ministries together, we also attend youth group together. For many years we were just friend, a fortunately life does bring challenges times to times and sometimes you became too busy to do anything. That what happened with us, only time we communicated was either Christmas Day or Easter. In April last year I woke up with an early long message from Steven, and that how everything started. After few week of chatting we decided to catch when his home. June 16 2018, he asked me if I would like to date him. I told him I will pray about it and get back to him. Well it took me a while to get back to him as I spend time praying and asking for advice from family members and church families. During that time I started having a feeling about him, so on June 30 2018 I said yes to date him and on July 17 2018 I said yes to be his girlfriend and on December 24 2018 I said yes to marry him and November 9 2019 we got married. Steven and I we were friend for 10years before we got together. We got married at our church and our reception was held there at school ground.
