Brad and I met back in 2009, whilst attending Tafe in the music course at Leederville. The first time we locked eyes I knew he was my destiny. However, it wasn't the right time for us as we were both teenagers and needed to grow in our own individual lives. We had a chance encounter on August in 2018, when we saw each other again. It was like no time had passed when we met up, except that we had matured and knew what we needed in life, each other. The spark that we had so long ago reignited and we knew we were twin flames. Brad got down on one knee at Araluen Botanical Gardens in 2019 and we haven't looked back since then, growing stronger together and creating a bond that will last an eternity.
The whole experience at Archela Bridal was like a breath of fresh air, I felt so comfortable as soon as I walked in. Surrounded by beautiful gowns is always daunting as there are so many options. My Bridal stylist Gabby suggested I try on the gown and as soon as I put it on I was convinced. It had that wow factor and the way it hugged my curves made me feel confident and beautiful. Added with the overskirt it glistened and sparkled giving me the shape i could only dream of. The lace on the bodice added the traditional white with perfect beading to add dimension. The off white/gold of the overlay material added the drama and sparkle I wanted. Archela Bridal went above and beyond for me in fitting and accessorising my gown, the team is amazing and couldn't have asked for a better experience.
My favorite memory is Brad and I having our first dance. We went with a very unconventional song - but something that meant alot to us. I felt like I was in a fantasy movie. With the fog, lighting and sparklers provided by Envy Events, it made my dress sparkle on the dance floor. Everytime I watch the video the way we look at each other it was like there's no one else in the room.
It is now easier to look in hindsight, as I remember how stressed I was leading up to the day. But any advice I can give is to live in that exact moment. Take the time with your future husband or wife and enjoy the experience that you both took the time and effort to create. Everything will fall into place, and if it doesn't make sure you have an amazing bridal team behind you to support you. I have so much respect and love for my Bridal squad and how they were able to sort out any issues that came our way.
